Fit to Deliver Program

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you should not participate in the Fit to Deliver Program if you have any of the following:

Clinically significant heart disease (Ischemic or valvular, this does not include mitral valve prolapse)

Type 1 diabetes (Insulin dependent when not pregnant), peripheral vascular disease, thyroid disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or other serious systemic disorders. (e.g. Hepatitis, kidney disease)

Incompetent cervix (ask your Doctor) Two or more miscarriages in previous pregnancies. Placenta previa, or bleeding in the current pregnancy.

Ruptured membranes or premature labor in current pregnancy.

Toxemia or preeclampsia in current pregnancy.

Very low proportion of body fat, eating disorder. (e.g. bulimia, anorexia)

Multiple pregnancy twins after 24 weeks (growth issues) triplets or more.

Evidence of fetal growth retardation in current pregnancy.
Further, and without limiting any of the foregoing, the following relative contraindications should be discussed with your health caregiver before participating in the Fit to Deliver Program.

History of previous pregnancies with premature labor, intrauterine growth retardation, preeclampsia or toxemia.

Significant anemia or iron deficiency.

Significant pulmonary disease (e.g. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)

Mild valvular or ischemic heart disease, significant cardiac arrhythmia.

Obesity or Type II diabetes before pregnancy. (need Doctor clearance)

Very low physical fitness before pregnancy.

Transverse lie - fetus lying across the uterus.

Medications that can alter cardiac output or blood flow distribution. (need Doctor clearance)

Breech in third trimester.

FIT TO DELIVER DOES NOT GUARANTEE OR WARRANT THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, APPROPRIATENESS OR SUITABILITY OF THE INFORMATION ON THE SITE OR OF ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICES REFERENCED ON THE SITE. Privacy Statement for Fit to Deliver Inc.

Fit to Deliver Inc. ("Fit to Deliver") has very strict policies and procedures designed to protect the privacy of our visitors. All Fit to Deliver personnel with access to personal information are aware of our policies. Any breach of policy will result in immediate discipline.
